Rakul Preet to star with Nithin in next film?

Written by : Digital Native

According to reports, Rakul Preet Singh has been roped in to pair up with Nithin in his upcoming film. The project will be directed Chandrasekhar Yeleti and produced by Mythrii Movie Makers. An official word on this project is awaited.

It may be noted here that Rakul will be ending the year with no Telugu film release. Recently, she was seen as the late actor Sridevi in the trailer of the upcoming NTR biopic Kathanayakudu, which will also be her first film release next year.

Rakul’s last outing at the theatres was with Spyder which was released last year. She was paired opposite Mahesh Babu in this magnum opus which was directed by AR Murugadoss. Though the film had a bankable hero and top director, it did not fare too well at the Box Office. Sypder was indeed a disappointment for Rakul and her fans.

After the debacle, the actor did sign the Telugu film Venky Mama but this project will not take off until Victory Venkatesh is done with his current film F2 – Fun and Frustration. Sources in the know say that Venky Mama will most probably go on to the floors during the first half of next year.

Rakul is currently busy with two Tamil films – NGK and Dev – which will be hitting the marquee next year. She has also inked the deal to star in Siva Karthikeyan’s film which has not been titled yet. Rakul will be seen in the Bollywood movie De De Pyar De which is presently at the filming stage.

The actor has signed her second Malayalam film after a long gap and will be seen in the magnum opus Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham, which also has Mohanlal in the lead.
