Rajini starrer ‘Kabali’ to be examined by Censor Board

Written by : TNM

Kabali presents the Superstar in a never before seen avatar as an aging, dignified, classy and super-stylish gangster. Rajinikanth stands out with his inimitable swagger, greyish-white ruffled hair and salt-and-pepper beard.

As millions of fans wait with bated breath for Kabali, several reports claim that the film’s release may be pushed back by a week. Kalaipuli Thanu of V Creations will take the final call on the release date after certification from the Censor Board.

Now the makers have locked the run time of the movie to 2 hours and 32 minutes, and final copy of the film is ready.

The Superstar, who took a short break from Shankar's magnum-opus 2.0, is holidaying in US and will return before the release of Kabali.

Kabali is expected to release in about 3000 screens and is rumoured to have already raked in nearly Rs 200 crore from the sale of distribution rights, endorsement deals and merchandise.
