Rajini fan Akshay Kumar keen to watch Kabali first day, first show

Written by : TNM

Akshay Kumar, like most of us, is a hardcore Rajinikanth fan and he has admitted it in several interviews. His joy knew no bounds when he recently caught the teaser of Rajinikanth’s Kabali, and spellbound by its visuals, he had apparently said that he plans to watch the film in Chennai, first show on the release day.

The Bollywood star who shares screen space with Rajinikanth in Shankar’s magnum opus 2.o is really looking forward to experience the euphoria around the release of Thalaivar’s film.

Akshay is currently in Chennai to join the sets of the latest schedule of 2.o, in which he plays the antagonist for the first time in his career. In an earlier interview, he had said he’d love to get kicked by Rajinikanth and that’s precisely why he didn’t mind playing a baddie in the first place.

In the film, Akshay is said to be playing a scientist who, after an experiment goes wrong, gets completely disfigured and turns into a crow. 2.o is being made on a whopping budget of Rs.350 crore and it is slated to release in cinemas during Sankranti festival 2017.
