Is Puneeth Rajkumar’s upcoming project a horror film?

Written by : Digital Native

There have been reports doing rounds that Kannada star Puneeth Rajkumar’s upcoming film Natasarvabhouma belongs to the horror genre. What sparked off the baseless rumours is the new poster that was released which shows Puneeth sporting a black thread with nine different coloured stones on his wrists. When the rumours began to go out of control, the film’s director Pavan Wadeyar sought to put an end to it and quashed it outright. According to reports doing the rounds, Natasarvabhouma is an action entertainer which will be a complete treat for all Puneeth Rajkumar fans out there.

The high budget film is being produced by Rockline Venkatesh under his banner Rockline Entertainments Pvt Ltd. Rachita Ram has been roped in as Puneeth’s leading lady in this flick and going by the reports, we hear that there could be another heroine in the cast as well. Pavan Wadeyar is scouting for a suitable lady to share the screen space with Puneeth and Rachita. We can expect an official word about it any time soon. The technical crew of Natasarvabhouma will comprise D Imman for composing the music while Vaidhi will be cranking the camera.

Expectations are high on this project due to its title. It is well known that the legendary Kannada actor Rajkumar, who is Puneeth’s dad, was addressed as Natasarvabhouma by his fans. It actually means Emperor of Acting. Also, Rajkumar had acted in a film with the same title which turned out to be one of the biggest hits in his career.

Natasarvabhouma will be Puneeth’s first film release of the year. However, it may be noted that he made a cameo appearance in The Humble Politician Nograj earlier this year. Natasarvabhouma, which went on the floors a couple of months ago, is likely to hit the silver screens later this year.
