Pranav Mohanlal’s role in 'Aadhi' revealed

Written by : TNM

Mollywood superstar Mohanlal’s son Pranav is all set to make his debut as hero in Aadhi and we have come to know that he is playing an aspiring music director in it.

According to the film’s director Jeethu Joseph, “Pranav plays a typical urban youth named Aadhi. He is someone who loves music and wants to be a music director.”

Interestingly, Pranav has worked as an assistant to Jeethu Joseph in the Tamil version of Drishyam, titled Papanasam. The film had Kamal Haasan and Gauthami play the lead pair. Speaking to the Times of India about directing Pranav, Jeethu Joseph had said, “I never felt he was nervous at any stage. There are obviously those minor hiccups when you are working in your first film but apart from that Pranav's confident. He's extremely hard working. In fact, for any job he does he puts in his maximum effort and that result shows in this movie too. He's learning every day and I am sure with the experience he will be a fine actor.”

On directing a newbie for the first time, he said, “Pranav got the script early and we had several discussions. Also, because he has been through the script so many times, he is able to add his improvisations. He has talent. But it's when the actor also puts in the effort, it becomes easier for the director. For me, directing him has been a seamless experience.”

The shooting of Aadhi is currently happening in Hyderabad and according to the director, a month-long schedule is on cards. He revealed that Aadhi will be high on the action quotient and a stunt choreographer from abroad would be roped in for it.

After wrapping up the Hyderabad schedule, the team would shoot in Bengaluru and Kochi, he added.
