Pichaikaran / Bichagadu sequel on the cards?

Written by : TNM

Basking in the success of Pichaikaran / Bichagadu, composer-turned-actor Vijay Antony is awaiting the release of his next Saithan, a psychological thriller directed by newcomer Pradeep.

The latest is that the makers are planning to make a sequel to this flick and Sasi who directed the prequel, will be directing the sequel too.

If the industry grapevine is anything to go by, the director has already started working on the script and it will be on the lines of the black money issue prevailing in the country. The sequel might hit the silver screen in 2018, say sources.

Pichaikaran turned out to be one of the most successful films of the year and its Telugu version Bichagadu, went on to break records for a film that was dubbed. Despite facing stiff competition from big budget films with star casts, “Bichagadu” held its own and successfully ran for 100 days, taking everyone in the industry by surprise.
