Mahesh Babu to do another film for Brahmotsavam producers

Written by : TNM

Following the debacle of Brahmotsavam, superstar Mahesh Babu has agreed to compensate the heavy losses incurred on the film by doing another project for its makers PVP Cinema. Apparently, Mahesh will be doing a film with director Vamshi Paidipally sometime later this year and the project will be bankrolled by PVP Cinema.

It’s tipped to be a romantic thriller and will most likely hit the screens next year. Mahesh, who has a film in his kitty with filmmaker A.R Murugadoss, will only work on Vamshi’s project after he completes this film.

“Mahesh will commence work on Murugadoss’s film from the last week of June or early July. He will shoot non-stop for four months and will take a short break before joining the sets of Vamshi’s film. PVP Cinema buoyed by the response of Vamshi-directed Oopiri, has roped in the director to helm another project for their banner.

Vamshi was supposed to work with Nagarjuna’s second son Akhil on the Telugu remake of Yeh Jawaani Hai Dewaani. However, he turned down the offer because his latest film Oopiri was a remake of French film, The Intouchables, and he didn’t want to work on another remake immediately.

While Mahesh is currently holidaying in London, Vamshi is unwinding in the US. Both of them are expected to return to India in the second week of June.
