Jayalalithaa a rose that blooms in adversity, Mammooty fit to be Kerala’s CM: Pratap Pothen

Actor and director Pratap Pothen has been posting his views on fellow artists from the film industry on his Facebook page.

He also recounted his meeting with Tamil Nadu CM Jayalalithaa, calling her “a rose that blooms in adversity”.

However, Pratap’s post on Mammooty, calling the Malayalam superstar “the greatest” has had fans scratching their heads, wondering if he was being sarcastic or genuine. Pratap had added that the knowledge that Mammooty has about everything was enough to make him the Chief Minister. He’d also called Dulquer Salmaan, Mammooty’s son and one of Kerala’s current heartthrobs, the “second best” actor.

Considering that a few months ago, Pratap Pothen had decided not to direct “Love in Anjengo”, written by Anjali Menon and starring Dulquer Salmaan, his post is getting more attention than it would have otherwise.

He then put up one more post about Mammooty which didn’t really clarify anything.

What’s more, Pratap then praised Mohanlal whole-heartedly, with no underlying tones.

Other actors he has praised include veterans Thilakan and Nedumudi Venu and Prithviraj from the new breed.
