‘Eradane Sala’ producer to file complaint with film chamber against director Guruprasad?

Written by : TNM Staff

Producer Yogesh Narayan had recently announced that his venture, Eradane Sala, will be pulled out of theatres and re-released some weeks later. Lamenting the failure of the film’s director Guruprasad to promote the film, the producer alleged that this was the reason for the film’s failure at the box office, despite receiving a positive response from audiences after its release on March 3.

Yogesh now plans to file a complaint with the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce against Guruprasad, but hopes that the director will be available for promos after negotiations.

The producer’s allegation is that the director entered into an agreement to complete the film in nine months and it was delayed for around four years due to which he had incurred huge losses. Adding to his woes, the director refused to promote the film Eradane Sala.

Starring Dhananjay, Sangeetha Bhatt and Lakshmi in the lead roles, the romantic comedy has been produced under the banner Yogesh Motion Pictures Guruprasad Inc. Anoop Seelin had composed music for the film, with camerawork by Samrat Ashok Goutham.

Yogesh hopes that the issues with Guruprasad may soon be sorted out, and the film could be re-released in April or May.
