The makers of Ajith’s "Thala 57", which is inching closer to completion, are currently shooting in Bulgaria, and Akshara Haasan is on her way to join the crew. The "Shamitabh" actor has shared on her micro blogging page that she’s en route to Bulgaria, where the team will shoot for the next month and a half. Some major action sequences and key scenes will be shot in this schedule and the principal shooting should be wrapped up by December second week.

It’s the third time in a row that Ajith and director Siva have teamed up after previously working in "Veeram" and "Vedalam". After playing a ruffian and a local don, Ajith will be seen as an Interpol agent, and in a very stylish avatar. Predominant portions of the film are being shot abroad as the story pans across continents and the makers are spending lavishly. According to a source from the film’s unit, it will be a truly international film.

Kajal Aggarwal plays the leading lady and Vivek Oberoi is being introduced to Tamil filmdom as the antagonist. Anirudh Ravichander has been roped in to compose the music, and he’s believed to have already completed two songs.
