The News Minute| January 13, 2015| 7.00 pm ISTMalayalam film director Dr. Biju has alleged in a F​acebook post that Manorama News has insulted ISRO former chairman K Radhakrishnan and Indian hockey team goal keeper Sreejesh, by giving Manorama ​N​ews ​M​aker 2014 award to ​actress ​Manju ​W​arrier.He also expresse​d​ his criticism for not involving 2014​'s​ best actor ​n​ational award winner Suraj Venjaramoodu’s name in ​the nominees of ​Manorama ​N​ews ​M​aker.He has written in the post that the final result of the news maker award was more funny than a comedy scene.“They have degraded a respectable ​and ​world famous Indian scientist and a reputed sports personality. Really shame on this television channel​,​” he wrote.Actress Manju Warrier, actor cum Member of Parliament Innocent, K Radhakrishnan and Sreejesh were the ​last four nominees selected to Manorama News ​M​aker award. ​When the final result came, it was​ Manju Warrie​r​ who ​was​ declared as ​the ​Manaorama News​ ​​M​aker of 2014.Suraj had got the best actor award for the movie Perariyathavar, directed by Dr. Biju.
