Following several incidents of vandalism and theft in public toilets in Delhi, the civic authorities in the city reportedly employed people to guard and also clean the lavatories. A recent video by Barcoft TV gives a peek into the life of Premraj Das, a guard-cum-cleaner at one of Delhi's many public toilets. For Premraj, his work place also acts as his home once his shift his over. He cooks, eats, and lives- in order to save rent- in the toilet. "I do not feel uncomfortable here. It is almost like my home," Premraj tells Barcoft TV. A migrant worker who shifted to Delhi around three years ago, Premraj is quite contend with his job.
