Here’s advice that Simbu and likes can use after facing serious criticism for their songs. Noted playback singer Kumar Sanu feels today's films have good music but the lyrics are getting vulgar and big stars should refrain from doing it.

"Music is good but the lyrics are not. Lyrics of some songs are vulgar.  I feel they are not good for the society, he said.”

Sanu feels people often look up to actors. So he feels it is not right on their part to do songs, whose lyrics are not good.  He added, “Actors have social responsibility. They should not encourage these things. One should not promote lyrics that are vulgar.”

Talking about actresses like Alia Bhatt, Shraddha Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha and Priyanka Chopra who have turned singers, he said, "It is not a new thing. Earlier also this used to happen. They all are good."

Sanu has sung several chartbusters like "Dheere Dheere Se", "Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin", "Yeh kaali kaali Aankhen", "Chura ke Dil Mera", "Tujhe Dekha Toh Yeh Jana Sanam".
