They belong to two different worlds - books and films - but style is something common to author Chetan Bhagat and actor Boman Irani.

At a preview of the Blenders Pride Fashion Tour, the duo spoke about their association with the forthcoming multi-event, and even shared what style means to them.

Boman said: "I have always believed that confidence defines style. From being a photographer to playing different character roles in Bollywood and theatre, the one thing that hasn’t changed is my confidence to challenging myself to do something different and doing it well.

"I'm very proud and excited to be associated with Blenders Pride Fashion Tour 2014 as this is one platform which goes beyond fashion and has indeed revolutionised the definition of style for their audience."

Bhagat, also a popular columnist and screenwriter, considers "style" to be synonymous with "excellence".

"Being excellent in whatever you do is stylish. It will be great to see various fashion and music enthusiasts portray their style, in their unique way," he said.

The Blenders Pride Fashion Tour, in its 10th year, will travel to Hyderabad, Gurgaon, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Kolkata. It will have a melange of fashion, music, literature and Bollywood.
