Naidu rolls out carpet for industries to invest in AP

The News Minute | November 5, 2014, 4:40 pm ISTAndhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu visited Bengaluru on Tuesday to meet with various business leaders.The CM participated in a road show organised by IT employees and visited industrial giant, CISCO. Rolling out the carpet for industrialists in Bengaluru to invest in AP, Naidu said “Our state is only five months old and we need to build things from scratch. This gives us an immense opportunity to develop cities in AP to meet global standards,” The state is also planning to host a Global Investors Meet to attract foreign investments, according to a report in The Indian ExpressThe AP CM plans to conduct road shows in various parts of the world, including the US (Silicon Valley), Japan and Singapore among other places and claimed that they would visit a new country every 2-3 months.Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu also plans to hold talks with his Karnataka counterpat, Siddaramaiah on the sharing of the Tungabhadra river water on November 10 as Naidu could not meet the Karnataka CM who was on a tour of the Kodagu district during his Tuesday visit.(Picture Courtesy- The TDP Facebook page)
