AP: ‘Mahanadu’ gets off to grand start, around 30,000 delegates expected

Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Friday inaugurated the 3-day conclave at Nehru Municipal Stadium, which is the first day of 'Mahanadu'. All ministers, MPs, MLAs, MLCs and other top functionaries of TDP party from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana participated in the grand meeting.

Around 30,000 delegates from AP and Telangana are expected to attend the meeting.

TDP founder Late Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao’s birthday on May 28 every year is celebrated as ‘Mahanadu’, which is also known as the Cadre Festival.

The TDP chief also inaugurated a blood donation camp and a photo exhibition dedicated to Late Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao marking the inauguration of Mahanadu. He paid floral tributes to the TDP's founder-president N T Rama Rao on the occasion.

A Baahubali cutout of the AP CM’s son Nara Lokesh was the highlight of the first day of the meeting.

A total of 28 resolutions, pertaining to various issues, are likely to be adopted at the Mahanaadu with Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu being appointed as the chairman of the resolutions committee.
