Tamil Nadu government transfers 9 IPS officers

Nine IPS officers in Tamil Nadu have been transferred as part of a reshuffle. Tirunelveli Commissioner Santosh Hadimani has been given additional charge of the Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG), Tirunelveli range.

The order dated March 25 said Pa. Moorthy, the DIG of Tirunelveli will now take charge as the DIG of Ramanathapuram. Abhinav Kumar, DIG, Ramanathapuram has been moved to Madurai range.

V Baskaran, the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Traffic East for Greater Chennai Police (GCP) will now take charge as DCP, Washermanpet. Sakthivel, DCP, Washermanpet has been posted as DCP, Intelligence Section - I for GCP.

S Megalina Iden, DCP, Welfare & Estate for GCP will assume charge of DCP, Traffic East for GCP.

V Karthick, Superintendent of Police, Tamil Nadu Special Police will take charge as DCP, Mylapore while DN Hari Kiran Prasad, the DCP of Mylapore will be the new DCP, Welfare & Estate for GCP

A Sujatha, DCP, Law and order of Tiruppur City North has been posted as SP of Erode district. Erode SP G Jawahar, has been transferred as SP, North Zone, CB-CID in Chennai.
