Malayalam actor Fahad Fazil is all set for a Kollywood debut. After the success of ‘Thani Oruvan’ Director Jayam Raja was expected to work with established heroes, to a surprise he signed his next with Sivakarthikeyan.
Fahad Fazil will be debuting in this untitled project with Sivakarthikeyan and Nayanthara.
Fahad after consecutive flops, the actor decided to be choosy with projects. He will be joining the sets of Anwar Rasheed's upcoming big budget movie and his Kollywood movie.
Speaking about the project Jayam Raja said, "After a huge hit I was very cautious about the next, and selected this script with Sivakarthikeyan on board.”
The makers were in a hunt for female lead and shortlisted three heroines out of which Nayanthara bagged the role. This is Nayanthara's second movie with the director and first with the actor.
"Thani Oruvan's Mahima (Nayanthara's Character) was due to our mutual understanding about the character. Nayanthara and I both believe that we can do much better work together in bringing out yet another solid heroine role. We will bring more strength in substance and content in this too", said Jayam Raja.
The other cast and crew are yet to be revealed. The untitled film is produced by RD Raja's 24AM Studios which will go on floors in July.
