Actor Ajith Kumar secures third place at Dubai 24H race, congratulations pour in

Actor Ajith Kumar’s team Ajith Kumar Racing clinched the third spot at their maiden race at the Dubai 24H on January 7. The actor, who suffered a crash during a practice session just a few days ago, is back to racing after a gap of nearly 15 years. In his speech, Ajith, who has been a motor enthusiast, thanked his wife and actor Shalini for allowing him to get back to racing. 

There was a significant turnout of Ajith‘s fans at the race and several celebrities congratulated him for passionately following his dreams. “What a man.. as he says “ DREAMS DO COME TRUE “.. an incredible real HERO…“ wrote actor Madhavan, who was present at the race. 

Similarly, superstar Rajinikanth wrote, “Congratulations my dear #AjithKumar. You made it. God bless. Love you.”

“Extraordinary achievement by Team #AjithKumarRacing in their maiden race! Thrilled for my friend Ajith, who continues to push boundaries in his diverse passions. A proud and seminal moment for Indian motorsports,” wrote  Kamal Haasan.

Actor Naga Chaitanya, who is also a motor enthusiast, wrote, “Ajith sir!! What a journey what a win ! ... A big cheers and congratulations for making us proud.” 

Tamil Nadu Deputy Chief Minister and actor Udhayanidhi Stalin thanked Ajith for including the logo of the Tamil Nadu Sports Development Authority (SDAT) in his merchandise. “I am thrilled to hear that Ajith Kumar Sir and his team have secured third place in the 991 category at the 24H Dubai 2025.  I extend my heartfelt congratulations to #AjithKumar Sir and his team for this remarkable achievement. I thank @Akracingoffl for displaying our Dravidian Model Government's @SportsTN_ logo in this prestigious racing event.I wish Ajith sir continued success in bringing even more glory to our nation and Tamil Nadu,” Udhayanidhi wrote.

Former Telangana Minister K T Rama Rao, who is booked in a Formula E case, also joined in congratulating the actor. “Passion. Purpose. Pursuit What a beautiful result - Podium finish You are an inspiration #AjithKumar Garu,” he wrote on social media platform X.
