Bharathy Singaravel (she/her) writes and edits stories at The News Minute. She has done features, ground reports, videos and long-form stories on social justice, identity and cultural politics. She also writes film reviews that are informed by these three lenses. She has a special interest in horror, fantasy and science fiction books and films that challenge Eurocentric or Brahmanical ways of storytelling. She has been published in The Caravan, Scroll, The Wire, Firstpost and The Federal.
