1. A petty fight in an engineering college hostel turned fatal, after a 21 year-old student wasstabbed by his roommate for not cleaning the room they shared. Final year students of NGP Institute of Technology, Peelamedu, Santhosh and Dinesh began exchanging blows, after which Dinesh received fatal injuries.2.The Madras HC has stayed criminal defamation proceedings against actor Dhanush after a complaint was filed stating a derogatory indication to advocates in the movie Kakka Muttai.
