The News Minute | October 6, 2014 | 04:0 pm IST It's been more than a week since AIADMK supremo and former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa, along with three others, was convicted in a disproportionate assets case. Since then, the political leader, often referred to as Amma, has been lodged in the Parapana Agrahara central jail in Bangalore, Karnataka. Amma's supporters who were caught off guard, started protesting on the roads, even took up poster campaigns.
