Filmmaker SS Rajamouli and the team behind his period drama RRR will be shooting the last schedule of the movie in Ukraine. In a social media post on Tuesday, August 3, the makers of the film shared that the team has reached Ukraine and is excited for the final leg of the filming. The post read: “Team #RRRMovie arrives in #Ukraine for the last schedule of the film… Excited.”

The multi-lingual, multi-starrer is a fictional tale on the lives of two freedom fighters who lived in the early 20th century – Alluri Sitarama Raju, played by Ram Charan, and Komaram Bheem, essayed by Jr NTR. Produced by DVV Entertainments, RRR also features Bollywood stars Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt in pivotal roles. The movie marks the Tollywood debut of both the actors.

The first song from the film, titled ‘Dosti’, was released over the weekend on the occasion of Friendship Day. ‘Dosti’ was released in five languages including Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada. The Telugu version of the song is sung by Hemachandra, while the other versions were sung by Anirudh, Amit Trivedi, Vijay Yesudas and Yazin Nizar. The song also features glimpses of the lead actors, Ram Charan and Jr NTR. Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series and Lahari Music have bagged the music rights for all five languages.

The film is scheduled to release theatrically on October 13. In June, the makers had revealed that they had to shoot only two songs to wrap up the production. The cast of RRR also includes Olivia Morris, Samuthirakani, Ray Stevenson, Shriya Saran and Alison Doody, among others.

Following the release of actors Ram Charan and Jr NTR’s first look videos from the movie that garnered millions of views on YouTube, the makers recently launched a sneak peek video titled ‘Roar of RRR’ that gave viewers a glimpse into the making of the movie.
