Vendhar Movies Producer S Madhan’s family on Friday organized a press conference to seek help from Chief Minister Jayalalithaa to find Madhan.

The producer went missing last Sunday and two complaints have been filed at Chennai Police Commissioner’s office by Madhan’s two wives Sindhu and Sumalatha.

On Friday, Madhan’s mother R S Thangam also circulated a letter allegedly written by him. Talking to the media, she said that he was close to the SRM group but was not given any particular post. They are worried if something happened to their son

Thangam said, “I want my son alive. “I am not ready to sacrifice him. We suspect a few people who did not like his closeness with the SRM Group," reported in Times of India.

Aspiring medical students have filed complaint with the Crime Branch against Madhan for cheating. His mother continues to claim that he is innocent. She stated that he had said that he gave the money for 102 seats to SRM group.

Madhan’s family members also filed a complaint at the CM’S cell and also filed a habeas corpus petition in the Madras High court. Police told TOI that Madan had major losses with movies under their banner did not do well and the medical admission also suffered due to the NEET confusion.

However, the institution is also not backing Madhan. “We would never shy [from coming] forward in the interest of the students. But a person totally unconnected with the institutions is spreading news. SRM has not collected any money from any parents for admissions,“ SRM university chancellor T R Pachamuthu told Times of India.
