Firing a fresh salvo at AP Chief Minister and TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu, former TDP leader Mothukupally Narasimhulu dubbed the CM ‘anti-Dalit’ and appealed to the people of the state to vote against him in the upcoming elections.
Launching a tirade against Naidu, Narasimhulu accused him of being a traitor, cheater and a politician of low stature. Further he appealed to the people of Andhra to vote Naidu out of power in the 2019 polls.
Making grave allegations against the TDP chief, Narasimhulu claimed that the TDP founder president NT Rama Rao was subjected to mental torture by Naidu. He accused Naidu of ousting NTR and hijacking his party.
“Does the party flag belong to you? If you have any guts, like Jagan, Pawan Kalyan and K Chandrasekhar Rao, form your own party. You are fooling NTR’s family members.”
Narasimhulu, who was sacked from the party on Monday for attacking Naidu, in a third bout vent his angst against Naidu for side-lining him from the party and deceiving him.
Addressing the media at his residence, Narasimhulu also slammed Naidu for being an opportunist.
Showing a photo of himself with NTR, Narasimhulu said, “Can you see how warmly NTR embraced me? He did not discriminate against me.”
Alleging that Naidu had mistreated him for being a Dalit, Narasimhulu said, “You (Naidu) said, will anyone want to be born as a Dalit? Will anyone talk like that? Your indifference towards Dalits and your real intentions were revealed in those words. You believe in the discriminatory caste hierarchy.”
He added, “No Mala or Madiga will vote for him at any cost. I appeal to the Kammas, as a protégé of NT Rama Rao, to defeat him [in the elections], next time we will elect someone from NTR’s family. Vote for Jagan, vote for Pawan Kalyan or the CPI-CPI(M)… it is up to you… but don’t vote for Chandrababu Naidu.”
The former TDP leader said that though he was promised a Rajya Sabha seat, Naidu later gave it to his relative, Garikapati Mohan Rao.
Narasimhulu further said that Naidu shifted base from Telangana to Andhra not to serve the people of Andhra but due to fear of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, who had allegedly ‘trapped’ him a cash-for-vote scam.
He also alleged that Naidu didn’t make 29 visits to the Prime Minister for achieving Special Category Status to Andhra but only to save himself from the scandal.
Narasimhulu is one of the senior TDP leaders, who was with the party since its inception. Although, he briefly joined the Congress party, he came back to the TDP fold.
