While Neerali, starring the actor in the lead and directed by Ajoy Varma, is gearing up for release on June 15, the star’s ambitious project, Odiyan, for which he did a lot of homework, is touted to hit the silver screens later this year. Also, he will be seen making a guest appearance in Kayamkulam Kochunni, in which he will be sharing screen space with Nivin Pauly, who is playing the title role.

Reports say that director Siddique has impressed him with a strong storyline for a project that has been titled Big Brother. The duo, who have worked together in the past and come up with the comedy drama Ladies and Gentleman (2013), share a good rapport since then. On the heroine, sources in the know say that Nayanthara is most likely to be roped in. Though Nayan and Mohanlal have worked together during her early days in the film industry, this will be first time they will be sharing screen space after she has been termed ‘Lady Superstar’.
Siddique is one the finest directors in the Malayalam film industry with several hits under his belt. He has won several prestigious awards in his career, including the Kerala State Film Award for Best Popular Film for Godfather in 1991.
