Dulquer Salmaan’s last film release, the bilingual biopic on the legendary actor Savitri, Nadigayar Thilagam / Mahanati turned out to be a big hit. The star is now busy with a number of films in different languages.

While his Hindi movie Karwaan is slated for release on August 3, his Tamil film Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithal is in the last leg of shooting. The Bollywood flick is directed by Akash Khurana and the director of the Tamil film is Desingh Periyasamy.

With these two films reaching the final stages of production, Dulquer Salmaan is all set to re-enter his home ground, the Malayalam film industry, with the BC Noufal directorial. The film will be bankrolled by Anto Joseph.

Confirming this, the producer said, “Dulquer is busy with filming the Tamil movie, Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal, in Delhi and after he’s done with the shooting will head to the US for an award show.”

The star also has the Hindi flick The Zoya Factor lined up. The film is based on the novel by the same name and its shooting is scheduled to begin in July this year. Sharing screen space with Dulquer Salmaan in The Zoya Factor is Sonam Kapoor.

Speaking about scheduling the shooting of his Malayalam film, producer Anto Joseph said that it will depend on when the star would complete Kannum Kannum Kolliayadithal and how his schedule for The Zoya Factor works out. On this, he is reported to have told TOI, “Depending on the film’s schedule, he will finalise his dates for the Malayalam movie.”

With Dulquer Salmaan having a string of films in Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam, his fans are excited to catch him in action on the silver screens.
