The arrested who included former Additional Private Secretary of Dayanidhai Maran, V Gowthaman, were not given bail when Special Judge Krishanmoorthy said "The investigation is at a crucial stage and the accused are influential persons and there is every possibility of tampering with the evidence if they are let on bail," reported PTI. Dismissing the bail plea of two others arrested, S Kannan and KS Ravi, the court had on Tuesday dismissed a CBI petition calling for custodial interrogation of the three arrested in the case.
