The News Minute| August 4, 2014| 10.30 am IST Politicians in Tamil Nadu are very upset with Sri Lanka after an article on a Lankan government website carried a derogatory picture of Chief Minister Jayalalithaa and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.  Read- Why Jayalalithaa's supporters are fuming over an article published by Sri Lankan defence site There are still protests happening in Tamil Nadu over the article and the AIADMK wants to sue the Sri Lankan government. Another direct fallout has been that the Under 15 Sri Lankan cricket team who had arrived in Chennai on Sunday night has been sent back. The team was asked to board a Monday morning flight to Sri Lanka, after organisers told the police that the prevalent sentiment was against Sri Lanka and there was not enough security for the players.  The 16 member team had arrived in Chennai to take part in the J.M. Haroon Cricket Trophy. JM Haroon, former Congress MP told The News Minute that it was unfortunate the team had to be sent back. “Last year we went and played in Sri Lanka, it is sad that they cant play here. There was not enough security and it was not safe for the players. So we told the police that they can be sent back.”
