The Congress party would be laying siege to the Chief Minister's camp office in Hyderabad on Monday over the ongoing TSRTC crisis. The party had given the government an ultimatum to resolve the crisis by October 19, failing which they would take up the protest. Despite the bandh on Saturday, the government remained defiant, and made no attempt to resolve the crisis. 

The Congress leaders expressed shock at Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao's attitude for not paying heed to the High Court's order. The High Court on Friday directed the government to have talks with the protesting TSRTC employees and put an end to the strike.

“CM KCR is adamant and appears to be in no mood to resolve the issues. He has disobeyed the high court suggestion of holding talks with the employees on Saturday (October 19). He did not appoint a full-time managing director of RTC despite the high court ordering it a week ago,” former minister Shabbir Ali said according to The Times of India.

Accusing KCR of dismantling the legislature by engineering defections, he said that KCR has now targeted the judiciary. “Now, he (KCR) is mocking the judiciary by not following the directives of High Court. This is an alarming situation. Immediate corrective measures must be taken to restore democracy in Telangana,” The Hindu quoted Shabbir Ali as saying.

On Sunday, TPCC working president and Malkajgiri MP, A Revanth Reddy, Bhongir MP Komatireddy Venkatreddy, AICC member Daya Sagar, and other senior leaders discussed strategies for the protest plan at Shabbir Ali’s residence.

Shabbir Ali alleged that the Chief Minister has no concerns about the inconvenience caused to the commuters nor to the problems of RTC employees. He alleged that the CM wanted to punish the protesting employees for not obeying his orders.
