Osmania Hospital conducted the postmortem and pathology tests on Hardik Jena, but the reports are still awaited.

Ashish Jena, father of Hardik, told The News Minute, “I went to the Langer house police station on Saturday, and they told me that the death closure report will come on Friday. And based on the report, they said they will hand over the report to the person who did the postmortem.”

“Today we are supposed to get the pathology report but we haven't received the report yet and every time they are delaying it. The police also said that it may take two months more.”

“We expect that the reports given by Osmania will be accurate and authentic. We also want to remain assured that the reports are handled in a proper and timely manner,” he added.

Hardik Jena was admitted to Olive Hospital in Hyderabad after sustaining a cut in his hand while playing in school. He passed away on January 28, 2016.

A case has been registered against Olive Hospital under FIR number 39/2016.

The authorities at Osmania hospital could not be reached for comment.
