Written by : TNM Staff

DMK Chief MK Karunanidhi’s second son and erstwhile Madurai strongman MK Alagiri on Tuesday morning said that he is not supporting any political party for the upcoming state elections.

Responding to reporters outside the Chennai Domestic Airport, he added that his supporters will also not lend their support to any political outfits.

M K Alagiri was a part of the cabinet in the second UPA government and has served as the Minister for Chemicals and Fertilizers.

The Madurai strongman was dismissed from DMK in 2014 for alleged anti-party activities.

He met his father and party Chief, and his brother and DMK Treasurer MK Stalin this March, after two years.
