TN Elections: PWF leaders meet GK Vasan for alliance talks

After People’s Welfare Front invited DMDK leader Vijayakanth to join the front, Mutharasan, G Ramakrishnan and Thol Thirumavalavan of People’s Welfare Front (PWF) on Friday met Tamil Maanila Congress leader G K Vasan.

In a press conference, MDMK leader Vaiko said, “Tamil Nadu has not seen a coalition government. But we will provide good and transparent governance. We enjoy the credibility in the public sphere, and none can point the finger at us with corruption charges,”according to TOI.

The PWF only consist of vote share less than 10 percent and are dependent on TMC and DMDK to join the alliance for the 2016 assembly elections.

On January 26, leaders including Sitaram Yechury and S Sudhakar Reddy, General Secretaries of CPI(M) and CPI will participate in a public meeting held by People’s Welfare Front in Madurai and explain PWF’s Common Minimum Programme.
