Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation (TANGEDCO) has announced power cuts in several areas in Chennai on Monday (August 20, 2018). The power will be shut down from 9 am to 4 pm to carry out maintenance work. However, if the works are completed before 4 pm, power supply will be restored immediately by TANGEDCO.

Here is the list of areas that will face power cut on Monday:

Vyasarpadi Industrial Estate

Sarma Nagar, Bharathi Nagar, Sastri Nagar First to Ninth Streets, PV Colony First to 15th Streets, Karimedu, Sanjay Nagar, MPM Street, Vyasar Nagar, Santhi Nagar and Avvai Nagar.

Neelangarai

Vaithilingam Road, CLRI Nagar, Rajendran Nagar, Thiruvalluvar Nagar, Ganesh Nagar, Kathiravan Road and a part of East-Coast Road and Ruby Complex.

Tiruvottriyur

Ennore Expressway (from toll gate to Pattinathar temple), Tiruvottriyur highway (Rollgate to Tiruvottriyur market), Sathangadu highway to Tiruvottriyur Railway station.
