On Friday, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) nabbed three more people from Ukkadam in Coimbatore, taking the total number of those arrested for alleged IS links to 14.

They were arrested after their names were found in the Facebook friend list and the contact list of Abu Basheer, who was arrested last week for IS links, reports The Times of India.

NIA officials told TOI that they had found a laptop from Abu Basheer which had a Facebook page that he used to radicalize youth. He also used to send people to Syria to join IS, said IB officials.

The NIA and Intelligence Bureau investigators had arrested four more people from the information they got from Abu Basheer last week. The four students are from a law college and were arrested after their names were found on the call records of Abu Basheer, according to TOI.

The NIA officials claim that they have found various electronic devices like laptops, mobile phones and a few other gadgets and documents.
