It's the Chennai airport again: Water leaks from AC vents after rains

After being in the news recently for collapsing glass ceilings, the Chennai airport on Tuesday saw water leak into at the airport due to the rains which began on Monday night.

Talking to The News Minute, historian Sriram V said that there was continuous water leakage through AC vents and the glass ceiling near the boarding gate. He also added that a pool of water collected there.

He added that he did not raise a complaint.

Earlier, the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) had  written a letter to the Airport Authority of India (AAI) concerning the repeated fall of glass ceilings since its inauguration in 2013. The glass ceilings have reportedly fallen 62 times till now.
