Actress Hansika got into the car by 8:30PM on Wednesday night was stuck in the traffic for about three hours on the airport road.

She writes, “Unmindful of the rains, I was entirely focussed on walking to a nearest Hotel and checking into it. I climbed over the kathipara flyover, now completely drenched in rain, slush and mud. I was shocked to see that the rain had choked up all the roads and paralyzed the traffic. It was chaos everywhere.”

But she thanks the Chennai public for being warm and welcoming. She has written in her post, “People around were very helpful with directions and were very forthcoming to help me. Not for a second, I was made to feel lost or unsafe. I finally found a hotel and checked in by 1AM.”
