Coimbatore-based 'Makkal Auto' is offering rides to senior citizen voters free of cost with a view to ensuring 100 per cent polling in the May 16 elections

Accordingly, people in the age group of 70 plus residing in the corporation limits can go to the polling stations, cast their vote and return home using a Makkal Auto, free of cost.

The facility is also available to physically challenged and visually impaired, irrespective of their age.
