We have all seen videos and read articles about how we are damaging the environment and how wrong it is. Some of us have even drawn posters with the earth on fire and in tears when we've been younger. 

And a common train of thought here is that nature is at our mercy - it's ours to conserve or to kill. But if nature could speak, would she agree?
