Doctors Without Borders also known as Medicines Sans Frontieres (MSF), a humanitarian non-governmental organisation that has been at the forefront in West Africa to fight the deadly Ebola virus, has announced that its resources are diminishing. MSF has also called out to other organisations to step up and act against the disease, a report that appeared in The Huffington Post said.

The report says that when MSF started work in their six centers in West Africa located in Guinea, Sierra Leone and Liberi, the number of volunteers were just 650. Today, that number has gone up to 3000. Brice de le Vinge, the director of operations says in the report that the organisation has reached its ceiling and urged the governments and international organizations to actively take up this cause further.

Brice also says that though the international community announced their full support in the fight against Ebola, no results are visible on the ground. "The speed of the deployment is still lower than the speed of the epidemic, and that is problematic", Huffington Post quoted him as saying.

MSF has been studying how to fight the Ebola virus since 1995. According to the World Health Organization also announced that there could be 5,000 to 10,000 new cases a week in early December.
