Sky News has apologised after its reporter rummaged through the debris of the Malaysian Airlines crash, picking up things from the scattered luggage.

During a live broadcast, Sky reporter Colin Brazier was seen picking up a set of keys and a toothbrush before saying: “We really shouldn’t be doing this, I suppose.”

Social media users and even journalists scathingly attacked the reporter’s insensitivity, forcing Sky News and Brazier to apologise. Sky News also received a “handful” of complaints, Huffington Post reported.

As many Indians like to ape the west, we’d like to bring you news of a desi reporter who went to the spot and also did something like what the Sky news reporter did. This reporter picked up aome plane part from the ground, but dropped it fast we are guessing.
