Reports state that the man has a country-made pistol and a pair of scissors with him.
The man has been identified as Rohit Singh, who hails from Uttar Pradesh’s Aligarh and works as a part-time model in Mumbai.
He reportedly entered the woman’s home at 6 am and she has been held hostage since then. The police were called after the woman’s neighbours heard a commotion from her home.
The man has reportedly been stalking the woman for the past year. The woman had filed a complaint against Rohit in January earlier this year. He was arrested in April after the woman’s complaint.
