Written by : TNM

In a seemingly ironic turn of events, a complaint has been filed against the secretary of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for corruption.According to a report in The Indian Express, the complaint was filed by former Delhi Dialogues Commission-member Ashish Joshi against Rajendra Kumar, the top bureaucrat in the ministry. In his complaint, Joshi has alleged that Kumar had created two companies called Caltoonz and EDUDEL MIS between 2002 and 2005 while he was the Director of Education. He adds in his complaint that the companies were set up to award work-orders of government departments without tenders. Joshi has said that after the “humiliation” he faced during his ouster from the DDC, his sources came forward as it was “not liked by many in the government”.Joshi has also alleged that when Kumar was posted as secretary (IT), he got his company with a PSU so that companies could get work without tenders. “Work up to Rs 50 crore was done through this company,” the complaint adds. The complaint was sent to newly-appointed ACB chief MK Meena. ACB is examining the matter and action will be taken accordingly,” Meena said.A Delhi-government spokesperson refused to comment on the matter.
