PM Modi touches hearts of Indian migrants, shares a meal with them in Riyadh

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi who is on his two-day visit in the Arab kingdom of Saudi Arabia  had lunch with Indian migrant workers at the L&T residential facility in Riyadh on Saturday.

The Indian workers are working for the Riyadh metro project there .

PM Modi addressing the Indian workers said, “Your hard work has brought me here.”

In his speech, he said that not only Indians working abroad send money back home but also enhance the prestige of the nation.

Modi continued on his visit on Sunday when he visited  first-of- its kind all-women TCS training centre .

This is for the first time after then PM Manmohan Singh’s visit in 2010, that an Indian head of state is visiting Saudi.

Modi’s visit to Saudi comes after he attended the  Fourth  Nuclear Security Summit hosted by US President Barack Obama in Washington and the 13th  Indo-EU summit at the start of last week in Brussels.
