Delhi cop faces arrest for allegedly molesting gang-rape survivor

Inspector of a police station in New Delhi is facing arrest after a 25-year-old gang-rape survivor complained that the inspector had molested her after he spiked her soft drinks with drugs.

According to a Hindustan Times report the woman, who hails from Karnataka, met the Delhi police Commissioner B S Bassi, who ordered that an FIR be registered against the inspector, who is with the Rashtrapati Bhavan security at present.

The HT report also quoted police sources who said that the inspector had faced departmental action in the past.
