When the Kerala Chief Minister waited for bureacrats to arrive

The News Minute | October 14 | 9.30 IST In contrast to usual phenomenon of ministers arriving late for all events, Oommen Chandy, Chief Minister of Kerala arrived on time to attend a meeting with district collectors and senior officers. But he was welcomed with empty chairs as the bureaucrats were late for half an hour. The meeting to discuss on tax collection and administration procedures was organized by public administration department.The Chief Minister was punctual and arrived sharply at 10.am and he checked the files while waiting for others. Looks like the bureaucrats never expected a politician to come on time, least of all a Chief Minister.
