Television journo, anchor of Asianet's FIR Aneesh Chandran passes away

Aneesh Chandran, popular television journalist with Asianet news passed away on Friday morning.

He was run over by a train at Kazhakootam railway station in Thiruvananthapuram. Thumba Sub-Inspector J S Sanil confirmed to The News Minute that circumstantial evidence suggested it was a case of suicide.

34-year-old Aneesh from Kallada in Kollam district, was the anchor of ‘FIR’ on Asianet news channel and began his career with popular Malayalam daily Mangalam.

He is survived by his wife Archana Parameshwaran.

Police have registered a case under Section 174 of Code of criminal procedure.
