Written by : TNM Staff

CPI (M) Kerala state secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan on Friday said that the RSS in India resembled the terror group Islamic State, and even alleged that it was "targeting Hindus", ManoramaOnline reported.

Balakrishnan was pointing to the incident where Sudheendra Kulkarni, a former BJP leader, was dishonoured by the Sangh over the  book written by former Pakistan Foreign Minister Khurshid Kasuri.

"Secularism is facing a grave threat in our country. RSS is working like an Indian form of ISIS... RSS is targeting the Hindus propagating progressive ideas in the country. All such things are happening after BJP government came into power in our country," Manoramaonline  quotes Balakrishnan as saying while citing ISIS attacks on Muslims in Iraq and Syria.

As per the report, the CPI(M) politburo member alleged that RSS will next target  people belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and the backward communities.
