Kalabhavan Mani death : Hyderabad Forensic department finds Methyl Alcohol in actor’s body

In the latest development in actor Kalabhavan Mani’s death, Hyderabad Forensic department has confirmed the presence of methyl alcohol in his body strengthening the speculation of the actor consuming spurious liquor before his death.

Methyl Alcohol is used in spurious liquor to increase its potency in minute amounts, if the concentration is slightly increased it causes blindness and even death.

Earlier with the mystery regarding the cause of the actor’s death still remaining, there were conflicting reports from two set of forensic experts about insecticide and methyl alcohol being present in his internal organs.

Police in Kerala had then sought the help of Hyderabad forensic department to solve the confusion.

Since his death the family has alleged the inaction on part of the police with Mani’s brother Ramakrishnan claiming that the actor was killed.

The actor died on march 6 and prior to that he had been admitted to aims Kochi for liver and kidney ailments.

There were unconfirmed reports of the actor consuming spurious liquor t along with a few friends at his outhouse in Padi near Chalakudy, the night before his death.
