Four, including Sivasena leader, held in Kerala with 18 kgs hashish oil

The Kattappana police held four people, including a Sivasena worker, with 18 kilograms of hashish oil, on Sunday. 

 The police nabbed the men from Kattappana town in Idukki district, at 4am.

 The arrested have been identified as Sivasena Idukki district organiser Anju Master, P R Bijumon, an advocate, Sinu and Abin, who is working with the district bank Santhanpara  branch. 

The team was busted by a shadow police team led by Kattappana DySP NC Rajmohan. “We have held three people with hash oil, one of them is a Sivasena worker,” Rajmohan told TNM. 

According to information available, the group is a part of an inter-state ganja mafia. The group has been under police surveillance for some time now. 

“We had got information about them and we were keenly watching them. The interrogation has been continuing,” Rajmohan said. 

 Hashish oil is estimated to be worth crores of rupees in the international market.
